Hyde
Park Records pays top dollar for your used CDs, LPs,
45s, DVDs, VHS & stereo equipment. Used product
keeps our bills paid and our doors open, so we want to make
sure that our selling customer is well taken care of and
will come back often! Check below for a price range and
what type of things we might be looking for.
We're
also very interested in large collections - here
in Chicago, across the USA - heck EVEN THE WORLD! If you
have a large collection that you'd like to sell, email
us or give us a call and we'll give you an idea of how
you can get the most money for your collection.

Discs:
We'll
consider buying any used CD, so if you have some to sell
it's best to bring them in to the store for us to have
a look at. We pay the most cash for CDs that are current
"hot selling" titles or hard-to-find
or out of print CDs that are sought after and collectible.
These guidelines include such a wide range of titles that it
might take a little bit of time for us to come up with a price
for you, but be assured that we're giving you the most we
can pay - and we're sure it'll be better than other local
shops. We pay a certain percentage of what we'll be selling
the disc for, so we might pay you $1 or $6 or $20! It
all simply depends on what you have and it's condition. If you
have a great CD that's not in the best condition, we'll usually
make you an offer for it - but it will only be a percentage
of what a good condition copy might fetch. We do ask that your
CDs include the case and front and back cover art. |

| LPs
& 45s:
Records
are a little bit trickier than CDs. There are SO MANY different
records from all over the world - some are worthless, but some
are worth a fortune! The factors involved include cover &
LP condition, label type, pressing version & more. The record
collecting market changes everyday & music styles change
fashion at a rapid pace. Something that was worth $100 last
year might not be worth $20 this year, but something that was
worthless last month may be worth $500 today. We've paid $500
for records, but we've also paid $.25 - it's a wide margin.
If you have some records and you'd like to get an idea of their
value, email us
or give us a call - we'll do our best to give you the best information
possible! |
