The evil shoplifter (played by Boomer) is putting one record on the counter & a few others over on the Victrola. Boomer (played by Keith) is ringing Evil Shoplifter out for the $2 Grover Washington Jr. LP he has placed on the counter, unaware of the danger that lurks on top of the Victrola. Innocent Lil' Dave (played by himself) is returning after a lengthy trip to the bathroom & notices something may be fishy....

While Boomer turns around to continue to price LP's, Evil Shoplifter makes his move for the LP's on the Victrola! Lil' Dave is suspicious....

Boomer continues his obliviousness, while Evil Shoplifter puts the contraband Lp's under his bag... Lil' Dave is watching...

Gracefully snatching victory from the jaws of defeat, Lil' Dave grabs Evil Shoplifter's arm & says "Where did you get those other records? Hey Boomer, did this guy pay for those LP's that were sitting on the Victrola?" Evil Shoplifter has fear in his eyes since he realizes that Lil' Dave is not to be trifled with...

Evil Shoplifter frantically checks his pockets for a receipt that doesn't exist, Boomer looks over the LP's & surmises that the LP's are, in fact, NOT PAID FOR. Our Hero, Lil' Dave, maintains a watchful eye from his perch on the stool by the register....

Evil Shoplifter says to a doubtful Boomer, "If I bring in a receipt, can I get them records back?". Boomer says "No. Just leave & I won't call the cops, you thief!..." Lil' Dave sees all...

As Evil Shoplifter slumps off into the night, Boomer congradulates Lil' Dave on a job well done.....
